Story and POV operations

Stories group related work. POVs are the angles inside a story, each with its own questions, audience, and outreach. This is the structural layer the rest of the workflow builds on.

Features/Story and POV operations

What it is

A story holds shared context—headline, description, languages, tags, and section assignment. POVs break that story into operational angles. Each POV can carry its own headline fields, questions, and send configuration.

  • Story objects with section assignment
  • Multiple POVs per story
  • Multilingual headline and body fields
  • Question sets edited per POV in the POV panel

Where it lives in the product

Stories are created and browsed on the Stories page. POVs appear on the POV list and are authored in depth from the POV panel when preparing outreach.

  • Stories page: search, sort, inline edit, ACL
  • POVs page: filter by story, reply counts
  • POV panel: questions, languages, save to POV records

What you control

Operators define how many angles a story needs and how each POV is worded before any send happens.

  • Story language set and translations
  • Number and order of POV questions
  • AI-assisted question generation and checks (expert mode)
  • Which questions are selected for a given send

Typical flow

How desks and campaigns move from container to angles.

  1. Step 1

    Create or select a story

Define the shared container with title, description, tags, and section scope.

  2. Step 2

    Add POVs as angles

Create one or more POVs with targeted questions rather than one generic prompt for the whole story.

  3. Step 3

    Set languages

Configure story and question text across the languages your audience and templates require.

  4. Step 4

    Prepare outreach per POV

Move to the POV panel to attach recipients, templates, and sends to specific question sets.

Common questions

Can one story have many POVs?

Yes. That is the default model. Each POV represents a distinct angle with its own questions and outreach context.

Where are POVs created?

POV records are saved from the POV panel question workflow and managed on the POVs page. The create tile on the POV list is intentionally disabled in favor of panel-based creation.
